Dieter Müh is the solo project of Devon based sound artist Steve Cammack. Originally created in 1993 as a three-piece, Dieter Müh has been a one-man unit since 2009.
Dieter Müh create drone walls and ambiosonic soundscapes from found sounds, field recordings and the odd electronic rhythm. Their first release was in 1997 and the Colin Potter produced “Black Square”, and over the past 20 years they have had releases put out by ; Harbinger Sound, Tesco Organisation, EE Tapes, Xerxes, Verlautbarung, Hanson Records, Sound Holes, Cipher Productions and their own imprint Haemoccult Recordings.
In their 23 year history Dieter Müh have collaborated with Finnish industrialists MNEM and American author Lon Milo DuQuette. They have played live with such luminaries as Current 93, The Anti Group, Threshold Houseboys Choir, Zoviet France, Nocturnal Emissions, Le Syndicat, Scorn, …… and now Aaron Dilloway!
