And above all, there is what comes here, to my ears, sometimes by accident, when the material is worked on in the studio, by the tape itself, by the microphone. In the beginning, I am not interested in any sound more than any other, I simply go where I think I feel something and I deepen. The form that it takes (broadcasting, performance, record) depends essentialy on the music itself. When it makes sense, the context or the space of the broadcast can determine the facts. Born in 1981 in France. Lives and composes music in Paris. Since 2008, Marc Baron composes music for loudspeakers using tapes and analog processes. This work takes the shape of acousmatics concerts, radio broadcast, records, installations or specific live performances. Some of his compositions and performances were played in Australia, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Scotland, Canada.
Some solo albums were edited during the last decade : in 2010 and 2012 on the English and Malaysiens labels Cathnor Records and Theme Park (“∩” and “ Une fois, chaque fois ”, in 2014 on the French label Potlatch (“Hidden Tapes”), in 2015 on Glistening Examples (“ Carnets ”) and in 2016 (« Un salon au fond d’un lac »).

Jazz drummer who has worked with Daniel HUMAIR, he is composing since 2007 with a record player in a very slow speed. Since 2010, he collaborates with the choregrapher Bernardo MONTET.
The new solo album LANDSCAPES will be available in january 2017.
Alessandra Novaga is a Milan-based guitarist with a classical training completed at the Musikhochschule Basel. After many years spent exclusively in the classical field, she turned to exploring and attending the territories of experimentation, composition and improvisation, thus redesigning her relationship with sound and performance. She has performed and collaborated with Loren Connors, Elliott Sharp, Nicola Ratti, Massimo Falascone, Patrizia Oliva, Paula Matthusen, Francesco Gagliardi, Sandro Mussida and Travis Just amongst others.
As a composer for the theatre, Novaga has scored and performed for the actor/directror Elena Russo Arman, Teatro dell’Elfo, the Milan-based group Phoebe Zeitgeist and Elio De Capitani. Her recent solo album, I Should Have Been a Gardener, was released this year on Die Schachtel. It is an expansive meditation on the life and work of Derek Jarman.
Matthew Sullivan is a sound artist from Los Angeles currently based in London. He has recorded under the moniker Earn and is a frequent collaborator with fellow LA artist Sean McCann. His 2016 LP Skene (Recital) is a collage of obscured narratives implementing cassette manipulation and voice cut-ups within instrumental and percussive motifs. Sullivan curated the Ekhein imprint between 2007-2012. In recent years he has performed at The Hammer Museum and the MOCA Geffen Center as well as curating numerous public and private events in Los Angeles.
