Nzʉmbe

For his Nzʉmbe project, Miguel Prado pens unusual, dramatic and very often romantic songs that delve into feelings of disenchantment, affection and humiliation. Built upon a musical bed of modular electronics and instrumental fragments, his recordings push forward the sound of the disembodied voice, laid bare in isolation, vulnerability and exposure. Miguel Prado is the story of a person’s life told from his birth to his death, detailing his deeds achieved and failures, and everything of significant interest to the same. His biography (Greek βίος, bios, “life” and γρᾶφειν, grāfein, “write”) usually takes the form of a expository story frequently narrated in the third person of the life of a real person from birth to death or to the present. In its most complete form, Miguel Prado also explains his actions according to the social, cultural and political context of the time attempting to reconstruct documentarily, his thoughts and figure. Miguel Prado can be recorded in the form of audio, visual or writing.

Flora Yin Wong

Label founder, artist & writer Flora Yin Wong’s upcoming releases will be a second album on Modern Love, and via INA GRM following a residency for the Parisian institute's 48-channel diffusion system. Her debut album 'Holy Palm' was released on Modern Love and has featured on labels like PAN, Archaic Vaults, and Danse Noire and is currently working on remixes for Nyege Nyege Tapes and Animistic Beliefs. She has performed live at Atonal Berlin, Unsound and Semibreve Festivals, New York’s ISSUE Project Room, MACRO Roma, MUTEK in Peru, Buenos Aires, and Montreal, Volksbühne Theatre, SOTO Kyoto, The V&A Museum, Somerset House, The Jazz Cafe, and Cafe OTO, to clubs like Berghain, Printworks, Razzmatazz, WWWB Tokyo, and guested on shows for Rinse FM, NTS, Know Wave, The Lot Radio, and Boiler Room, with a trimestrial residency on LYL Radio.

Subtle wild improvisation combo with variable geometry, formed by raw vocalist Dali de Saint Paul. Once Dali dreamt of a band that played 64 gigs and then stopped, "Ephemeral Project 64"... and so far, that is the only plan they adopt, the rest is spontaneous and free.

This appearance will feature an all-female combo including Yoshino Shigihara (Yama Warashi), Agathe Max (Papivores), Joanna Pucci (Burl), Ursula Russell (Snapped Ankles/Ursa Majour Moving Group/ Alabaster Deplume) & Dali (Harrga, Viridian Ensemble…)
