Sagome presents "fake jazz trio" Parasite Jazz, British Canadian 4 track artist Fupper, and London-based artist and maker Sally Evans - aka Sallad Egg.
Parasite Jazz is a fake jazz trio playing imaginary movie scores with drums, drum machines, violin, synth, ocarinas & voices. The trio overflowed by Simple Music Experience’s funders Tamara Goukassova, Théo Delaunay & Alexandre Larcier - their self titled debut album offers a 40 minutes of non-simple music madness, and navigating between a dozen of etiquettes from undecided space rock to motorik-infused-dub, mediaeval folk, cartoon trance; everything under the seal of psychedelia and half-improvisation.

Fupper is a British Canadian 4 track artist based in South London, creating slipstream, lo-fi, wabi-sabi soundtracks that explore nostalgic guitars, 1/4” tape loops and found sounds that wander over loose rhythms and weave in and out on a journey that celebrates imperfection and transience and is joyfully on the verge of falling apart.
His last three albums were released on Wrong Speed records with companion novellas written by Fupper. His most recent album “Hair Clouds” was released in July 2024.
"...Bits and pieces of sound found in old garages and beneath the floorboard are used to make a cut ‘n’ paste collage that sits somewhere between the Meadow House style of elastic band pop, the homemade proto-hip hop of early Fog and the cinematic late night sounds of Woo. .....hints of Nurse With Wound and People Like Us sit amongst the mechanical lo-fi beats and sonic tomfoolery...... certainly the strangest and most discomfiting soundtrack you’ll hear this week” - Norman records, Album of the day (“Hair Clouds”).
